Mbeya is the third Largest City in Tanzania, it is located in the southern highlands. It borders Tabora and Singida to the North, Rukwa to the West, Malawi and Zambia to the South and Iringa and Njombe to the West.
The city is the main gateway to Zambia and Malawi as well as serves as the commercial and zonal headquarters of the surrounding regions.
The city is reachable in all seasons of the year by using various means
of Transport such as road, air and railway. You can reach Mbeya by buses
such as Mbeya Express, Sumry, Green Star, Ndenjela, JM luxury, New
Force, Al Saedy, Happy Nation, Nganga, Hood, Abood, Sai Baba, Princess
Muro, Hekima, Twiga, Upendo, Budget, Majinja. You can either use TAZARA
trains which are scheduled several days per weeks. Also you can travel
by air by using various companies such as Precision Air, Auric Air and
Flight link, with Air Tanzania plan to fly to Mbeya soon.
